Fashion lovers have probably already marked the week of 17 October in their agendas as during this week, the highly appreciated {CON} TEMPORARY FASHION DAYS (the former ‘stock sales’) once again take place in Antwerp. During these days, designers temporarily offer pieces from previous collections at attractive prices. An overview map of addresses, opening times and other details can be downloaded here!
After the first edition, that was won by Elise Schepens and Anne Zellien, Baunat is organizing a second design contest in April 2011 in cooperation with FFI. The assignment will once again be to design and create a modern, timeless piece of diamond jewellery. The designers are asked to make a sketch. Based on that sketch and an interview, one laureate will be chosen who will get the opportunity to make a final product-prototype which will be cast in silver and zirconium. The winner of the contest will be announced half October 2011.
