Baunat - design competition

After the first edition, that was won by Elise Schepens and Anne Zellien, Baunat is organizing a second design contest in April 2011 in cooperation with FFI. The assignment will once again be to design and create a modern, timeless piece of diamond jewellery. The designers are asked to make a sketch. Based on that sketch and an interview, one laureate will be chosen who will get the opportunity to make a final product-prototype which will be cast in silver and zirconium. The winner of the contest will be announced half October 2011. This competition fits in the new Plato Jewellery Design, the godfatherproject that was founded in September 2010 by VOKA/Kamer van Koophandel Antwerpen and Waasland in cooperation with FFI. Baunat will refund all working costs and provide a prize of €3500 for the finalist.
