Malou Swinnen's "Le regard de personae"
The photographer from Hasselt, Malou Swinnen reinterpreted the Kunstbank's collection of accessories and textile in a series of portraits to follow up the original "Personae" exhibition from 1995. In "Le regard de personae" Swinnen exposes the viewer to portraits in which the face, the skin and the pose of the women she photographs is intensified by a garment that sticks to them as a second skin.
