Just like the FFI team, designer Kim Stümpf's preparations for the upcoming show season are in full swing. In Paris she will present her S/S 2012 collection "Black Emanuelle" from February 29 until March 5 in her very own showroom.
Kim imagined a fictional, adventurous woman, called "Black Emanuelle" , who explores her sensuality and fully embraces life in a strong bond with nature. She paints this picture in terracotta red, saffron orange and sandy brown creating garments made of luxurious linens, embroidered silks and ecological bamboo. True to her instinctive "automatic drawing" technique and her use of artisanal Belgian craftsmanship working only with Italians materials, this collection is testament to her timeless feminine style.
Have a closer look at Rosier in Antwerp's shop window, which showcases "Black Emanuelle", as well as in Kim's new studio and showroom in the Ridder van Parijsstraat in Antwerp. Other points of sale (starting from 1 Februari) are: Sevens - Gent, Au bon marché - Gent, L'heroine - Bruges, Graphie Sud - Brussels and online at ledressing.be.
