A Belgian boutique as Superstore 2012?

We may be just a tiny little country, but Belgium has an impressive track record of bringing forth numerous fashion designers and fashion houses. Not suprising then that there is something else we have a knack for: thinking up unique conceptual spaces that unite fashion and design with art and even haute cuisine. Farfetch.com, a website which unites over 100 fashion-forward and remarkable boutiques has definitely noticed that retail potential. Ra in Antwerp, Irina Kha in Liège and Francis Ferent in Brussels already showcase their designer goods on the online shopping space, but the farfetch-team has spotted more additional gems. Two Belgian boutiques have been nominated in the search for the world's best new boutique: Graanmarkt 13 in Antwerp and Hunting & Collecting in Brussels are in the running for the Superstore Award 2012 which is being closely overseen by a panel of experts from the areas of fashion, art, illustration and publishing.
