Second Hand Second Life surpasses previous editions!

Second Hand Second Life's fashion show - already in its 9th installment - took place last Friday at Tour & Taxis. It was an incredible success. More than 2000 visitors came to watch Spullenhulp's  runway presentation to which 38 designers contributed. The final auction raised a total of 28 650 euro, a wonderful sum that will be put toward financing a new shelter for homeless youngsters. A wall lighting design by Zoé Morel was the piece that brought in the biggest amount (5000 euro), but all the Belgian designers who reinterpreted second hand clothing taken from the Spullenhulp-depot into new silhouettes, such as Edouard Vermeulen, Isabelle Lenfant, Dirk Wynants and Van Hongo, created stylish offerings in a decor designed by Guillaume Joveneau, artistic director of Second Hand Second Life.
