DAA & addictlab.com invite Clive Rundle

Belgium does not (yet) have its own, real fashion week, so think tank addictlab.com made a virtual version of BFW. For one week, fashion designers will show their collection on the digital catwalk on fashionweek.be. On 4 Octobre, it will be up to Clive Rundle to wow visitors.

In an extraordinary project by Designers Against Aids and addictlab.com, the South-African fashion designer will create a whole collection from just one pattern, with the help of his assistent Christopher Malo. From 4 until 10 Octobre, you can meet Clive in the IHAEC centre and follow the creative process from start to finish. Jan Van Mol from addictlab.com thinks it’s high time that Belgium discovers Clive: “This is a creative challenge which proves Clive’s technical virtuosity and his African creativity which allows him to create a surprisingly great deal with a lot less opportunities than we are used to in the West.” As a South-African, Clive has a self-evident link with the HIV-issues in his home country and in support of this, he will be the next one in the incredible line of designers who have already customized a Designers Against Aids T-shirt.
